No matter which University or subject area you are interested in we are happy to give existing and potential students advice in choosing and planning their chosen routes to University.

Students are fully supported through their application process to Higher Education.

We also host a Higher Education Fayre each year in October where you will get the opportunity to speak with representatives from Scottish Universities about your future.

The College works with many of the local Universities to provide direct entry to Degree programmes. The following examples are paths which some of our students have taken:

Business and Administration

Articulation agreements are in place with Bell College for a range of Business courses including HND to BA in Accounting, and with Heriot-Watt University in the Business area.

Holders of an appropriate HND in Business subjects can progress directly to the third year of the BA in Management, part-time Degree programme which is run in partnership with Heriot-Watt University.

Care

Within Care there is an Access to Nursing agreement with Bell College, Stirling University and Glasgow Caledonian University, for progression onto their Degree programmes in nursing.

Computing

Computing students can generally progress from HND to third year of Computing Degree programmes at Glasgow Caledonian University and other institutions.

Music Technology

HND Music Technology students have progressed to third year of a variety of Degree Programmes e.g. BA Commercial Music and BSc Music Technology at Paisley University, BSc Multimedia with Audio Technology at Glasgow Caledonian.

Social Science

Through SWAP West the College provides an Access to Social Sciences Programme which gives direct progression to Degree programmes, mainly at Stirling University and Glasgow Caledonian University.
