Cumbernauld's Audio and Media department was revamped and upgraded in 2007 with industry standard equipment from the leaders in the field. 

The £300k installation includes a studio built around an Audient recording console with outboard equipment from legendary audio companies such as Neve and Avalon.  There are 7 Digidesign Pro-Tools HD systems and Avid video editing systems allowing students to record and edit music and film to industry standards.
